This can be a lengthy, tedious process and involves careful reading, interpretation and application of federal law and institutional policy, and being as helpful as possible to researchers. This position will also serve as the Director’s authorized delegate when the Director is unavailable.Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree At least 2 years of experience related to compliance work and/or higher education Ability to understand, interpret, and apply federal regulations Ability to organize, write about and discuss regulatory and complex issues clearly Demonstrate good written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate with people from various disciplines and backgrounds Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree in a relevant field Conceptual familiarity with human subjects and other academic research, experience working in a fast-paced academic research environment, and experience working with faculty from various academic disciplines Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well under deadlines Proven ability to take initiative Experience working independently and as a team member Application Procedure Submit your application online at https://yourfuture.sdbor.edu/postings/38518, along with your resume, cover letter, and contact information for at least three professional references.
